The focus now turns to the regulatory realm, where the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has identified 30 topic areas that need new rules to regulate the swaps market. The new reforms are also prompting the CFTC to revise proposed position limits on four key oil and gas futures contracts to account for aggregate position limits across all markets.
