Argus and Sutherland present: Regulating the Oil Markets Webinar
Did you miss the recent webinar? It's not too late to watch the recording.
President Barack Obama signed into law the most sweeping financial regulatory changes since the Great Depression, reforms that will have a dramatic effect on how the oil markets trade. The focus now turns to the regulatory realm, where the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has identified 30 topic areas that need new rules to regulate the swaps market. The new reforms are also prompting the CFTC to revise proposed position limits on four key oil and gas futures contracts to account for aggregate position limits across all markets. How will oil companies navigate these regulatory changes, and how will these new measures be harmonized with other regulatory initiatives in Europe and beyond?
The Argus Oil Market Regulation Summit, produced in association with Sutherland, will bring together oil companies, regulators, leading legal experts, economists and other key energy market experts to discuss the major regulatory initiatives and their potential impacts on the oil industry.
Don’t miss this opportunity to be a part of this unique industry event. Understand the new business model for oil trading companies. Register TODAY.
